Before the fashion weeks kick off, we take a closer look at the high-summer, luxury 2025 Cruise collections from some of the top brands.

Cruise collections, also known as resort collections, are ready-to-wear lines offered by fashion houses or brands in between the main seasons or sometimes before the main season. While luxury fashion brands like Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Ralph Lauren typically create these collections for women, Yves Saint Laurent has been preparing and selling resort collections for men since 2006.
In addition to the seasonal collections shown twice a year in New York, London, Milan, and of course Paris, Cruise collection shows add an extra layer of excitement for us fashion enthusiasts. Here are the brands that have showcased their collections and a look at their 2025 Cruise Collections:
Chanel 2024-25 Cruise Collection
Chanel’s 2024-25 Cruise show took place on the rooftop of the Centre d’Art de la Cité Radieuse MAMO in Marseille. The collection, which reflects Virginie Viard’s imagination, featured embroideries, Chanel’s classic tweed fabrics, sequined jackets, and swimwear, preparing you to dive underwater and feel the warm rays of the sun.
An intriguing aspect of the show was the live broadcast on the day of the event, a special program called Radio Chanel. Hosted by brand ambassadors Caroline de Maigret, journalist and producer Géraldine Sarratia, and music curator Pedro Winter, the program featured discussions with the brand’s ambassadors and friends about their impressions of the Chanel 2024-25 Cruise Collection presented simultaneously at Cité Radieuse in Marseille.

Gucci 2025 Cruise Collection
Another collection named "Ancora" from Gucci... They had previously launched collections with the same name during the season shows. This time, we see Ancora again in the 2025 Cruise Collection. Gucci’s 2025 Cruise Collection was held on May 13 at Tate Modern, one of the most important art galleries in London and the world, which was opened by Queen Elizabeth II in 2000. For Gucci, the location holds great significance, and London is particularly special for the brand.

London is the city where Gucci as a brand first blossomed. The founder, Guccio Gucci, worked as a young bellboy at The Savoy, one of the city’s most famous and important hotels. Seeing the luxury luggage and elegant outfits of the guests inspired Guccio to design his own leather goods, which he eventually did upon returning to Italy.

Returning to the collection, this is the first Cruise Collection prepared by the brand’s creative director Sabato de Sarno for Gucci. Inspired by numerous trips to London, Sarno aimed to capture the essence of the city in Tate Modern, a venue where art, design, and fashion intertwine.
The collection featured standout pieces such as suede jackets, tied blouses, floral dresses, micro shorts, and striped socks.

Louis Vuitton 2025 Cruise Collection
Louis Vuitton’s 2025 Cruise show was recently held at Park Güell in Barcelona, a site designed by the famous architect and designer Antoni Gaudí and constructed in the 20th century.
This collection marks the tenth Cruise collection prepared for Louis Vuitton by Nicolas Ghesquière, the brand’s creative director for women’s collections. Examining the collection, from fine tailoring to impressive silhouettes, Ghesquière combines his unique style with Spanish touches, taking the audience on a multifaceted exploration with emotional highlights throughout the show. Pharrell Williams, who started as the creative director for men’s collections with the Spring/Summer 2024 season, was among the attendees at the show.
